Kavanaugh's accuser wants FBI probe before she testifies

Sep 19, 2018

WASHINGTON — Christine Blasey Ford wants the FBI to investigate her allegation that she was sexually assaulted by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh before she testifies at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing next week, her lawyers said in a letter sent Tuesday to the panel. The lawyers wrote that Ford, who is now a college professor in California, wants to cooperate with the committee. 'Silly old bear': New exhibition celebrates Winnie-the-Pooh

Sep 19, 2018

BOSTON — When people care too much, Winnie-the-Pooh argues it's just love. That bit of time-tested wisdom is as relevant today as it was nearly a century ago, when the beloved teddy bear and main character in A.A. Milne's children's books series first appeared in print. Now Pooh and pal Christopher Robin are starring in "Winnie-the-Pooh: Exploring a Classic," a new exhibition opening Saturday at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts. "The exhibit addresses the fact that Winnie-the-Pooh is a global phenomenon, beloved by many if not by all," said Meghan Melvin, who curated the show. "Surprisingly, many people are not...

She received a confidential letter earlier this summer from a constituent who accused Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her at a party more than three decades ago, allegations that didn't begin to surface publicly until last...

If that happens, Wilson would be arraigned Friday. If not, he would return to court Sept. 27. The girl had been missing since Sept. 6. She was...
